There are lots of things that I need just to be able to turn up on the day, never mind run for 151 miles.  The cost of entering is nearly £3000, and any help in covering these costs would be appreciated.  In addition, I need a whole load of special equipment and training.  The ultra light equipment is a bit costly so on top of normal gear it adds up.  Unfortunately I cant try and run the desert in an old t-shirt and a pair of cut off shorts  If you are able to help I would be grateful.  You might be a company who manufactures the equipment who can offer a discount price.  Alternatively you might want to sponsor a particular piece of equipment, or a proportion of it, either as an individual, group or organizaton.  In return I can offer you my thanks and gratitude, the thanks of the people whose lives will be changed by the money I raise in donations from this event, and I can offer you satisfaction in the kowledge that your support has been worthwhile.  I can also offer advertising space on this website, any links you want and I will endeavour to wear any logos you have when I do the run.  The event is televised every year so you never know.
